Learning Programs

Learning programs are intended to provide students with field experience in areas of Environmental Science, Recreation and Personal/Team Development.

Programs are Resource Guided. The Coordinator will set up equipment and provide resources for your guidance. Group Leads are expected to use provided resources to lead their school groups through the activities.

The Coordinator may be available to facilitate select activities, but their responsibility is for teacher in-service, site bookings, safety and all matters pertaining to the operation of the Center. If you require further facilitation for activities, please advice the coordinator upon booking your group so that there is time to plan and make schedule adjustments.

Contact the Coordinator if you would like to book time for Orientation, Teacher In-Service or guidance on leading your group.

*As it is primarily an Environmental Learning Center, school groups are required to choose 2 ‘Environmental Science’ labs per day.
